Will I have to pay anything?

Under English law the loser pays the winners costs, this includes solicitors fees, disbursements (costs of medical reports and other reports etc.) counsels fees, After The Event insurance as well as success fees.

What if I lose?

If you do not have adequate legal expenses insurance your solicitor will take out After The Event insurance on your behalf at no cost to you. This covers the fees incurred by the other side (defendant).

You will not have anything to pay as long as you co-operate with your legal advisor.
